Occupational injuries insurance

Available to: Omega AS Employees.
As an Omega AS employee you are automatically registered for occupational injury insurance, that will ensure you financially if you should fall ill or be injured during work.
Should you be subjected to an occupational accident or occupational disease, the insurance will provide financial security.
- The insurance applies for all employees
- If the employee`s spouse/cohabitant should pass away, there will be paid an amount of 12G
- The insurance includes occupational injury and occupational illness that occurs during working hours, when working in the workplace
- The insurance also applies during business trips, and travelling to and from work

Terms for occupational injury insurance.
For employees working offshore
Employees working offshore have an expanded coverage for 40 G at 100 per cent disability due to an occupational accident or other accidents offshore.
This also covers the entire stay offshore, including travelling to and from land.
Compensation at illness or injury
The employee is entitled to the indemnity.
Indemnity is primarily paid in the event of:
- Medical diability
- Incapacity for work
- Additional expenses that have been and will be incurred
