Insurance for other illness

Available to: Omega AS employees.

Omega offers insurance for illness other than occupational disease through its comprehensive insurance scheme.

The insurance cover medical disability, incapacity for work and death.

Compensation

• In case of 100 per cent medical disability, the indemnity will be 10G. It will be adjusted for age and reduced proportionally for lower degrees of disability.
• In case of 100 per cent permanent incapacity for work, the indemnity will be 11-15 G. The indemnity will be adjusted for age and income, and reduced proportionally for lower degrees of disability.

Terms for insurance other illness

Death

In case of leisure illness causing death the following compensation will be given:

• 16 G if the employee dies
• 12 G if the spouse/cohabitant dies
