Outlook and Exchange access at Omega
Published: 21.05.10 (Updated: 21.10.11)
Omega has its own Exchange server, which creates a new e-mail, calendar and contacts environment for our employees.
Moving to Exchange
You can set up your own account that can be used in Outlook, online and on mobile devices. Exchange synchronises your contacts, calendars and e-mails instantly to all devices that are set up with your Exchange account, and can be integrated into a large number of environments.
Setup
The first thing you need to do is setting the password in Connect. You may use the same password that you have been using, but you need to set it again for use with the Exchange service. The password you set, can then be used for TeamDocuments, MarketMaker, e-mail and domain login.
Change password in Connect.
Using Exchange
You have access to your inbox both through Connect :
Email in Connect.
Setup on mobile phones and other computers
You may also use https://mail.omega.no/ from any computer, and log in with your username and password.
How to set up Exchange access from other computers, cell phones and other units with Exchange support:
- Choose Exchange Server
- Use mail.omega.no as the server name
- Use your Omega username (without @omega.no)
- Use your chosen password
If you need to enter the domain, that is called omega.no.
