Maintaining your personal and contact information will assist your colleagues in contacting you, improve your chances of being identified for upcoming employment opportunities and help Omega to protect your safety in an emergency situation. Get to know how and where your information is stored and/or shared so you can manage your details.
Personal and contact information
The “My CV” application in Connect is your up-to-date and active employee profile.
Omega’s Project Services team store the skills, profile and experience from your CV in a database called MarketMaker. MarketMaker is also a selection tool that identifies the candidates that best fit available jobs. An accurate, up-to-date CV will maximise your chances of being identified as a worthy candidate for an upcoming position, so ensure your Omega CV is updated at all times. Remember to save each page of your CV as you update it.
Shared contact details
The basic contact details of all Omega employees are available in the Personnel Locator. Using the Personnel Locator, you can search the ranks of Omega as a complete list, or via employment projects/locations. Profiles include name, e-mail, telephone number and a photograph.
Please send a headshot photograph of yourself to the Omega Service Centre if you do not appear with a photograph in the Personnel Locator. If you do not wish to have your photo published we will of course respect your wishes.
If any other information is incorrect, be sure to let the Service Centre know so we can correct the information.
Emergency contact information
In case of emergency, Omega Administration holds the name and contact details of each employee’s next of kin. It is your responsibility to notify the Omega administration of any changes to this information.
Omega’s Business Unit Managers also maintain lists regarding the working location of their employees at any point in time. This list is used to identify any employees that may need assistance in an emergency situation. It is extremely important that Omega employees assist their Business Unit Managers in keeping their lists accurate by ensuring personal details are up to date on the Personnel Locator at all times.
