E-Learning: HSE Fundamentals

Omega offers a series of HSE Fundamentals E-Learning courses on our E-Learning Portal. Participants in the Omega Advantage programme will be awarded 10 000 Advantage+ points for completing each of the five courses and their tests.

The courses

The HSE Fundamentals courses are designed to satisfy the relevant requirements described in NORSOK S-006 HSE evaluation of contractors.

The HSE Fundamentals courses are designed to ensure everyone in Omega satisfies our minimum HSE knowledge requirements, and those of our clients. Omega Management requires that all team members complete the five courses and pass the associated tests.

All the courses are approximately 40 minutes long, available in Norwegian and English, and 10 000 Advantage points are awarded at the end of each one. The course subjects are:

• HSE Fundamentals – Introduction
• HSE Fundamentals – Health
• HSE Fundamentals – Environment
• HSE Fundamentals – Safety
• HSE Fundamentals – Omega

Tests

Each of the courses concludes with a test. To pass each test you must answer at least 80 percent of the questions correctly. If you fail to answer 80 percent of the questions correctly, you will need to take the test again in order to attain a successful completion.

Accessing the courses

Omega’s HSE Fundamentals courses are offered via our E-Learning Portal. The E-Learning Portal tracks and presents your progress and therefore allows you to enter and exit courses as is convenient to you.

The E-Learning Portal automatically awards Advantage+ points to eligible users upon successful completion of each course.
