Omega news

Leading the way for US expansion
Omega is making inroads in the US, with Mark Brand harnessing Omega’s unique approach to service and job matching and introducing it to consultants on his home turf in Houston.

On board with Westcon
With one of the Norwegian industry’s leading shipyards just around the corner from Omega’s head office, we have an open invitation to provide Pims to some of the world’s most advanced rigs as they arrive for repair and maintenance.

Oslo picks up the pace
There has been a significant increase in the need for Omega’s services in the southeast region of Norway. Now, new Consultants Manager, Gunn Tollefsen, has joined the Management team in Oslo to assist in securing the right jobs for Omega candidates.

Twenty years with Omega
Årstein Ånensen was bored at work one day in 1992 when the phone rang with a job offer from Omega. Back then, Omega didn’t have an organized program of teambuildings or holiday houses to attract him, but he took a chance on Omega and has not regretted the choice for a second. Today, he is one of our 20-year veterans.

New agreements for Omega Singapore
Omega Singapore has secured its largest frame agreement to date and is set to expand its consultant team to meet the demands of ConocoPhillips and Höegh LNG.

Reached NOK one billion in turnover
In 2011 Omega secured a financial milestone, achieving more than NOK 1 billion in turnover.

Can be Company of the Year 2011
Omega is one of three companies nominated to Company of the Year by Haugesund Region's Business Association (Haugalandregionens Næringsforening). The title will be awarded at the Haugaland Conference 2 March.

Omega IAT becomes Omega Areal
Omega IAT AS has changed its name to Omega Areal AS and is set to expand both its team and its range of expertise.

Reinforces management team
The consultant team at Omega's head office in Ølensvåg is preparing to welcome more team members as new Consultant Manager, Leon Dyngeland, prepares to recruit in the Haugaland region.

Acceleration in Stavanger
With more than 200 consultants and 100 available jobs in the Stavanger region , reinforcements were required. Two new Consultant Managers are ready to accelerate Omega's activity in the Norwegian oil capital.
