On departure
Cleaning
We ask that the cabin is left tidy after use. Washing and cleaning is done by our own cleaner between stays.
Heating
On departure, please turn all of the heaters down to 12 degrees.
Location
Hovden is a year-round tourist centre with attractions including Hegni Park, Hovden Hunting and Shooting Centre, fishing and walking trails.
In the winter alpine and cross-country enthusiasts are attracted to the Hovden Ski Centre and to 132 km of well-prepared cross-country runs. Hovden Badeland is a great year-round attraction, with its open-air and indoor swimming pools for adults and children.
Getting there
From Haukeli
Turn right at the Mountain Hotel (do not make a turn to the hotel), and follow the road towards Hovden Ski centre for approximately 500 meters. Turn right after the ski rental building ("Skiutleige") at the sign Nystøyl.
Follow the road approximately 200 meters and turn right at the rubbish drop off. Follow the road approximately 120 meters. The cabin is located on the right-hand side of the road and is marked with the number 6 on the cabin wall.
From central Hovden:
Drive through the center of Hovden heading north. After a long incline, turn left at the Mountain Hotel (do not make a turn to the hotel), and follow the road towards Hovden Ski centre for approximately 500 meters. Turn right after the ski rental building ("Skiutleige") at the sign Nystøyl.
